All our machines under one roof

MAZAK machining centres, CNC lathes, a large-format milling machine and conventional machines for rework: all our turning, milling and boring resources are on one site, in Le Châtelet-en-Brie (77), a quarter of an hour from Melun and around twenty minutes from Fontainebleau. Between two operations, a part never leaves the workshop.

  • One single site — turning, milling, large format and finishing under one roof: no chain of subcontractors, no transport between two operations.
  • Large-format milling on site — the 2,100 × 3,100 mm table of the SBC DBA takes up an entire bay: large plates are machined without being moved.
  • Built-in handling — a 750 kg jib crane above the clamping area, for heavy parts and fixtures.
  • Conventional machines retained — conventional milling machine and lathes for rework, one-off parts and urgent repair jobs.

Rework, one-offs, emergency repairs: conventional machines take over

Rework on an existing part, a one-off part needed the same day, an emergency repair job that cannot wait for CNC programming: in these situations, a conventional machine is the fastest solution, and it is the one we favour. Our conventional lathes and milling machines, for rework, one-off turning and milling, are kept and maintained for this purpose, alongside six pillar drills and three welding stations. A G-clamp set-up takes a few minutes; a dedicated fixture, several hours.

Deltronic profile projector

Alongside the KEYENCE system, the workshop has a Deltronic DH400 profile projector with a 400 mm screen. It inspects, without contact, the profiles, radii, angles, chamfers and grooves of turned parts and small parts, by comparison with a scale overlay or by measurement on the digital readout. It is our everyday inspection tool, during production runs and for first articles.

The two systems complement each other: the projector for fast profile checks, the KEYENCE for complex geometries, large parts and the inspection reports supplied to the customer.

ALESAGE XC also has standard inspection equipment:

Perfume & Cosmetics

Alésage XC is based in Le Châtelet-en-Brie, Seine-et-Marne (77), right next to the Cosmetic Valley, the perfume and cosmetics competitiveness cluster. We machine the metal and plastic parts that go into your high-end production lines.

Our parts for the cosmetics sector

Pucks for filling machines and tube fillers Screw caps Clamping rings Tooling PEEK parts Forming dies Pump nozzle Change part Filling-machine star wheel Mobile laser-coding mount Cleaning box (feed tank)

The cosmetics sector imposes constraints that few subcontractors can really meet: tight dimensions for assemblies and sealing, surface finishes compatible with cleaning processes, and material traceability that starts with the order for raw stock. Alésage XC has worked with cosmetics industry players since it was founded. We know the requirements — and we take them literally.

Tolerances: IT5–IT6 on functional diameters

We routinely achieve IT5 and IT6 grades on functional diameters — threaded rings, sealing seats, sliding fits — without rework or external grinding. Our MAZAK machining centres ensure batch-to-batch repeatability.

Surface finishes: Ra ≤ 0.4 µm

Surface finishes are produced by direct machining on our parts. For applications that require a mirror-polished look or an ultra-smooth surface, we achieve Ra ≤ 0.4 µm depending on geometry, down to Ra 0.2 µm on a polished bore.

Thread sealing

Our threads are machined with flank corrections suited to the materials and to the actual tightening conditions.

Material and INCI compatibility

For your qualification requests, we provide material certificates (EN 10204 3.1) and safety data sheets, ready to use in your INCI compliance files and supplier audits.

Responsiveness: quote within 24 hours

Machining quote within 24 hours, 24 to 48 hours when Alésage XC supplies the material. First article within 5 working days after drawing approval. For repeat production, framework agreements with buffer stock held at our premises.

170 pucks for a PKB filling machine — delivered in 4 days

One of our cosmetics customers contacted us on a Monday morning: an unexpected overload on a packaging line, and a need for 170 HDPE pucks machined for a PKB filling machine, with the material already in stock at our workshop. Drawings and a prototype approved by video. Production started the same day. Machining, dimensional inspection, packing. Delivered to the customer on Friday. The line started up with the new format on schedule. That is what we call being a production partner — not just a parts supplier.

Alésage XC in 1 min 17: the machine fleet, precision and inspection. Subtitles in French.

Alésage XC since 2007

Founded in May 2007, Alésage XC is a single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) specialising in subcontract machining and precision engineering, based in Le Châtelet-en-Brie (Seine-et-Marne), serving manufacturers in Île-de-France and neighbouring regions. Our team combines traditional know-how with advanced technology to deliver machined parts that meet our customers' strictest requirements.

At Alésage XC, every machined part reflects a standard we do not compromise on. Since 2007, we have built partnerships based on trust and transparency, delivering parts that are right first time — because our customers have no time to lose on rework.

Our human scale is our strength: a single point of contact per project, and a responsiveness that large suppliers can no longer offer. Every project gets our full attention, from technical consultation through to delivery.

We believe industrial performance and responsibility go hand in hand. In August 2026, the independent EcoVadis assessment scored Alésage XC 86 out of 100 and awarded it the Gold medal, reserved for the top-rated 5% of companies. Energy consumption, emissions, waste recovery, workplace safety, business ethics: our commitments are measured and published. See our commitments in detail →

“I have a simple conviction: in precision engineering, what makes the difference is rigour at every step — and the people who apply it. We are not the cheapest subcontractor on the market. We are the one that delivers right, tells the truth about lead times, and always tries to understand why before starting to machine. That is our added value.”

EcoVadis Gold medal — top 5% worldwide

Our commitments are not just stated: they are assessed by a third party. In August 2026, EcoVadis scored Alésage XC 86 out of 100 and awarded it the Gold medal, reserved for the top-rated 5% of companies in its framework. Here is what lies behind that score.
